Online First

The majority of articles accepted for publication in JCBI are initially released Online First, before their placement in a specific issue. These articles undergo copyediting and proofreading by the authors prior to publication. Online First articles are identifiable by their Digital Object Identifier (DOI), providing a unique and permanent identifier for all versions of the article. The DOI ensures that citations always direct to the most recent version of the article.
