Abstract

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a communication-oriented approach; however, its effectiveness in influencing consumer behavior remains uncertain. Social media is all-powerful in the present times and has the ability to mobilize public support and alter their opinions. NLP and social media are more or less similar to one another, where the latter can be used to design effective social media posts. NLP techniques can be used by social media marketers to encourage consumers to buy their products, along with highlighting the qualities of the product through their systematic posts. Text, content, and background are essential rudiments in social media post design, which can be manipulated by marketers and advertisers through different NLP approaches. The study aims to investigate the relationship between NLP and social media content design and production. The study explores participants’ self-reported preferences and perceived attention patterns without claiming behavioral influence. Twenty purposively selected participants completed an online paired-design survey. Responses were summarized descriptively using frequencies and percentages; therefore, the findings should be interpreted as preliminary and non-causal.
